Cloudy hanging in the sky of the Uncak Kapuas Landscape, I sat in front
of the house residents who laid me overnight, watching the Belang Hill, that’s the
name of the rainforest in Tanjung Village, Kapuas Hulu, Heart of Borneo. Occasionally the hills lined up in this
village are shrouded in mist, sometimes thin, sometimes thick. My determination
of today is clear, I have to explore the hills, although for a moment, though
not far away, just trace and know what they keep for us, humans.
Toward 7 o'clock I left by motor to get to the bridge that connects this village with the hill on the east side. In less than five minutes, I reached the bridge and the journey began. An old man passes by me, it turns out he is on his way to the field that is on the hillside. I decided to follow him up to the hill instead of getting lost without direction and purpose.

Fifteen minute walk, rain with moderate intensity down. Between reluctant and willpower, I put on a raincoat that I carry. Mina, that's the name of the oldman who guides me on this journey. We walked around whill chatting, from the chat I knew that he was over 70 years old. Her gasp, 40 years older than me, and still walking calmly, I myself have since started climbing already have a very heavy step.
After an hour of walking, we finally arrived at Mina's field cottage. The fog is still alternating stroked the hillside where Mina's field is located. He is still have to wait for a little brighter sky, new rice in the field can be harvested. The fog causes wet rice, if it forced to harvest, the pads can not be stored for a long time. Can not wait to document the various unique rainforet plants on the hill, I immediately say goodbye to Mr. Mina to come back down to the village. Of course my trips do while taking pictures of various types of ornamental plants that are potential to become decorative plants. The result? Check it down.
